This position in the Maintenance & Operations Engineering Support (MOES) Department requires a proactive engineer with a strong background in reactive equipment maintenance. You will provide technical leadership and support to field staff, oversee maintenance projects, and conduct failure investigations on critical infrastructure.

Your role is vital for ensuring the economic and safe operation of Manitoba Hydro’s assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and training for reactive equipment maintenance

• Collaborate with multiple departments for project scope and prioritization

• Conduct root-cause analysis and recommend failure prevention measures

• Initiate estimates for improvement projects and prepare condition assessments

• Develop engineering drawings per industry standards
Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and six years of related experience

• Professional member with Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba

• Knowledge of maintenance principles and RCM methodologies

• Familiarity with SAP PM and Microsoft Office applications

• Valid class 5 Manitoba Driver's Licence
