Position: Stantec Senior Environmental Planner Role

You will work closely with the Assessment and Permitting team based in Calgary, Edmonton, or Saskatoon. This collaborative position emphasizes effective project delivery and mentoring junior staff while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. Your expertise in environmental processes will drive impactful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead project teams on environmental regulatory matters

• Review and prepare environmental assessments

• Support risk management and project execution

• Collaborate with technical specialists for project success

• Nurture client relationships and lead proposals
Requirements:

• At least 12 years in environmental regulation

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies or similar

• Solid grasp of regulatory requirements in the mining sector

• Strong detail orientation and problem-solving skills

• Ability to coach and mentor junior professionals
