Join the City of Summerside as a GIS/CAD Foreman and lead the modernization of utility infrastructure management. Leverage your GIS and CAD skills to improve urban planning and asset management.
In this key position within Municipal Services, you will oversee GIS system development and data accuracy for utilities including water and electrical. With at least four years of experience, you will ensure collaboration across departments while supporting technical analysis and capital planning initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee GIS systems development for municipal utilities
- Provide drafting and design for utility projects
- Ensure up-to-date asset records and mapping data
- Assist with capital planning and technical analysis
- Collaborate with teams for project coordination
- Education in GIS or related field
- 4+ years of experience in CAD and GIS
- Proficient in GIS tools, particularly ESRI
- Experience in municipal utility systems
- Solid analytical and problem‑solving skills
