Yukon Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Elevate your career as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer with Fuerte Metals in Yukon’s Coffee Gold Project. This role is key to overseeing cold-climate geotechnical safety and reliability in engineering.
You will be responsible for the geotechnical aspects of projects, including the oversight of earthworks and solution ponds. Your experience will help develop models, perform critical stability analyses, and ensure compliance with local legislation through interactions with regulators. Discussing Indigenous practices will enrich your project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead engineering efforts for solution ponds and earthworks
• Develop design criteria and conduct stability analyses
• Ensure designs are practical and cost-effective
• Engage in site inspections and support Quality Management
• Manage geotechnical safety monitoring programs
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
• Over 10 years of geotechnical experience
• Eligibility for Skilled Engineer (P.Eng.) in Yukon
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Knowledge of Indigenous customs is beneficial
