Position: Mechanical Engineer for Power Systems at WSP
Step into a key role at WSP as a Senior Mechanical Engineer in power generation. Focus on innovative designs for renewable and traditional power systems and mentor junior engineers.
As a vital member of the Energy team, you will leverage over 15 years of EPCM experience to lead complex mechanical system designs for power plants. Your projects will encompass biomass, geothermal, and carbon capture technologies, guiding evaluations and developing key design documents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design of mechanical piping for energy projects

• Examine engineering techniques and ensure industry standards

• Create complex designs with analysis and equipment selection

• Develop P&IDs for power generation systems

• Prepare specifications for critical equipment including tanks and pumps
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering

• Over 15 years of experience in power generation mechanical design

• Qualified Engineer (P.Eng) certification

• Proficient in Microstation, AutoCAD, and Thermoflow

• Familiarity with Caesar II or Auto Pipe
