A growing and well-established consulting engineering firm is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer. This prospect is ideal for someone looking to step into a leadership-focused role while remaining actively involved in technical design and project execution.

This role offers a balance of leadership, client interaction, and hands‑on technical involvement. The successful candidate will oversee projects and mentor junior staff while continuing to contribute directly to structural design, coordination, and technical problem‑solving.

• Lead structural design and project delivery for a variety of building projects including commercial, residential, institutional, and mixed‑use developments.
• Oversee projects from conceptual design through construction administration and project close‑out.
• Maintain and build strong client relationships through regular communication and project involvement.
• Prepare and review structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architectural, mechanical, electrical, and contractor groups.
• Participate in site reviews, construction meetings, and field coordination as required.
• Provide technical guidance and contribute to overall project planning, scheduling, and quality control.

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience within consulting engineering/building design.
• Robust experience with steel, concrete, wood, and foundation design for buildings projects.
• Proficiency with structural analysis and design software such as ETABS, SAP
  2000, SAFE, or similar.
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and mentor team members effectively.
