CAPEX Project Engineer at VARO Benelux

Lead critical CAPEX projects at VARO Benelux as a Project Engineer. Manage full project life cycles with a focus on safety, budget, and quality while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

As an experienced Project Engineer, you will oversee modification and expansion projects from concept to handover.

Your role includes coordinating procurement, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and engaging actively with contractors and suppliers. You will be responsible for continuous improvement in engineering methodologies while adhering to VARO's standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage modification and expansion projects independently

• Coordinate procurement, construction, and commissioning phases

• Develop and monitor project schedules and budgets

• Report on project progress, KPIs, and risk assessments

• Oversee contractor performance and compliance

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or related engineering

• Minimum 5 years in industrial sectors like oil & gas

• Experience managing technical CAPEX projects

• Knowledge of safety standards and methodologies

• Fluency in Dutch and English
