As a Truss Designer reporting to the Design Manager, you will prepare truss layouts and estimates for various projects. Expect to engage in structural design, ensure accurate estimates for roof and floor truss systems, and implement design changes. You'll also promote a safe working environment and support customer technical needs as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare layouts and estimates for truss systems

• Implement design changes accurately across departments

• Ensure compliance with Qualico’s Safety Program

• Offer technical support to customers as needed

• Assist with additional projects or duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Architecture, Engineering, or Drafting

• Experience in truss or building component design

• Familiarity with Mitek truss design software preferred

• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle access

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
