As a trainee in this structured program, you will acquire hands-on experience and foundational knowledge for gas turbine engine repair. Over 14 weeks, you’ll learn to inspect engine modules, follow safety practices, and interpret complex technical documents. Successful trainees will transition into assigned engine programs within Standard Aero.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in a comprehensive 14-week paid training program
• Learn repair and overhaul processes for turbine engines
• Inspect engine components per technical standards
• Follow aviation safety practices and regulations
• Collaborate with instructors and team members
Requirements:
• High School Diploma required
• 2+ years of related job training preferred
• Proficient in reading technical data and blueprints
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for extended periods during training
