Mechanical Designer in Electrification Technologies

Join Parker’s Electronic Controls & Motion Division as a Mechanical Designer, focusing on electrification solutions. This role emphasizes mechanical design for high-tech electronic products and assemblies.

In this role, you will lead the design of electronic product housings while enhancing existing products. Engage in a collaborative environment where you will solve manufacturing challenges and support new product specifications. Your experience will be essential in advocating for DFM strategies and leveraging rapid prototyping technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and troubleshoot mechanical design issues

• Prepare comprehensive design documentation and drawings

• Optimize parts and assemblies using simulation tools

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on projects

• Participate in design reviews and risk assessments

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

• Minimum 10 years of mechanical design experience

• Solid background in 3D CAD, preferably PTC Creo

• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills

• Capacity for working independently with deadlines
