As the Truss Designer, you'll work under the Design Manager to create precise truss layouts and estimates for various construction projects.
Your role involves structural design of roof and floor systems and ensuring adherence to project specifications. You'll also focus on promoting safety and providing necessary technical support to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop structural truss designs and estimates
• Execute design updates in collaboration with departments
• Promote safety and compliance within the workplace
• Provide customer technical support when required
• Assist with various projects or tasks as assigned
Requirements:
• Relevant education in design or engineering disciplines
• Experience in truss design preferred
• Familiarity with Mitek design software is an asset
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products
