Kleinschmidt is seeking a qualified Professional Engineer with a solid foundation in hydrotechnical engineering, holding 4-6 years of experience. In this role, you will engage in projects involving dam design, fish passage engineering, and inundation mapping. Collaborate closely with other engineering disciplines to devise effective solutions for water infrastructure challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver hydrology and hydraulic analyses for projects
• Assist in designing and assessing hydraulic structures
• Collaborate with diverse teams for project implementation
• Conduct floodplain mapping and modeling duties
• Engage in fish passage design and dam safety evaluations
Requirements:
• Registered or in-process P.Eng. with 4-6 years experience
• Familiarity with HEC-RAS and other modeling software
• Willingness to travel and possess a driver's license
• Ability to work in Canada and acquire U.S. authorization
• Strong relationship-building and teamwork skills
