As a senior individual contributor at Proper Voltage, you'll manage battery pack design from concept to production. You will leverage expertise in thermal analysis and mechanical validation to solve complex engineering challenges while mentoring junior engineers. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate cutting-edge battery technology into robotics and defense.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own mechanical design of battery modules and packs

• Drive thermal simulation and testing campaigns

• Lead validation test plans for mechanical performance

• Author and maintain engineering documentation

• Mentor junior engineers in CAD practices and design

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

• 5+ years in mechanical engineering, preferably in battery hardware

• Expert-level skills in 3D CAD tools

• Strong understanding of GD&T and tolerance stack-up

• Experience with mechanical subsystem independence
