WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Design and analyze structural systems for a variety of building projects.
Prepare and review drawings, calculations, specifications, reports, and supporting documentation.
Ensure designs comply with applicable engineering standards, safety requirements, and building codes.
Review shop drawings, RFIs, change orders, fabrication details, and field modifications.
Conduct site visits and field reviews, providing technical support throughout construction.
Collaborate with project and construction teams to resolve design challenges and maintain project timelines and budgets.
Support permitting, inspections, project documentation, quality standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a structural engineering focus, or a related engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
Preference will be given to candidates registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with Engineers & Geoscientists of Manitoba.
Engineers-in-Training (EITs) with demonstrated ability to manage projects may also be considered.
Experience designing structural systems for commercial, industrial, agricultural, and/or steel building projects.
Strong understanding of structural analysis, design principles, and applicable building codes and standards.
Proficiency with structural design and engineering software (AutoCAD & Revit).
Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence.
