In this senior role within WSP’s Rail & Transit team, you'll collaborate with Chief Engineers and project managers to ensure the safety and reliability of various rail projects. Your expertise will be essential in developing signal systems, preparing technical specifications, and supporting project execution. You'll also train and mentor junior engineers, making a lasting impact on their professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and analyze signaling systems for rail transit
• Prepare detailed calculations and installation documents
• Perform checks on signal designs from team and third parties
• Create compliant signaling schemes per industry standards
• Interact with clients on technical matters clearly
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) certification preferred
• 10+ years in Railway Signaling systems
• Proficient in AutoCAD and CAD software
• Strong knowledge of railway standards and rules
