Bridge Project Manager
The opportunity

We are currently looking to hire an experienced Project Manager with Bridge experience to join our Transportation Practice, which spans across Western Canada with deep expertise in bridges, culverts, and structural rehabilitation, inspection and asset management. In our Winnipeg location we are looking for an experienced professional to join our growing team and provide leadership to our team, and in the delivery of our projects.
The successful candidate would do that with the support of a national team with technical specialists, cross-Canada project experience, and a leadership group that's invested in your success.

Lead and deliver projects:
- You will manage bridge and structural projects across the full lifecycle, from initial pursuit through design, construction oversight, and close-out.
- Projects will range from municipal and provincial infrastructure to specialty structures, varying in scale and delivery model. You'll maintain technical quality, keep projects on time and on budget, and serve as the senior point of contact your clients' trust
Develop people:
- You will mentor and support junior and intermediate staff, help support our culture of support and success that retains good people
- Contribute to a culture that connects our Winnipeg team to AE's broader national network.
- Help develop the Engineers-in-Training and intermediate engineers who will be the backbone of this practice five years from now.
- You will also step in to complete design work as needed in support of project teams, and to keep your design skills sharp.
- You will develop and maintain client relationships with clients.
- You'll identify opportunities, lead pursuits, and build Associated's profile, including in urban and rural communities.
- You will be supported by our leadership team.

Required:
- Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering or an associated discipline from an accredited post-secondary institution
- P.Eng. in good standing with Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba
- 10+ years of relevant experience with meaningful involvement in bridge design, rehabilitation or assessment
- Demonstrated experience in managing projects
- Proven track record of successful project delivery and client service
- Experience mentoring and developing junior staff in a collegial environment
- Possess a valid class 5 driver's license
- Available to travel as required
