Senior Roadway Design Engineer

In this role, you will be a vital part of our Winnipeg Roadways and Highways team, leading the design of provincial highways, urban roadways, and bridge approach projects. We're looking for a professional with 5-10 years of experience ready to manage project life cycles, including planning, design, and support during construction phases, working with clients like Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design for highways and urban roadways from planning to construction

• Develop geometry, cross-sections, and drainage plans using Civil 3D and ORD

• Interpret geometric design standards and prepare design exceptions

• Prepare and review tender documents and technical specifications

• Assist with project management for small to medium-sized transportation projects

Requirements:

• 5-10 years of design experience in transportation

• P.Eng. registration or eligibility with Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba

• Proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D and Bentley Open Roads Designer

• Strong knowledge of MTI and TAC design standards

• Excellent communication and proposal writing skills
