In this permanent, full-time role, you will coordinate and manage projects under the direction of the Branch Senior Project Engineer. Responsibilities include overseeing project execution, managing budgets and timelines, and ensuring compliance with flood regulations. Your expertise will directly impact the community by enhancing flood resilience and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee project management and administration for water projects
• Approve permits ensuring compliance with regulations
• Participate in flood response planning and assessments
• Provide engineering services for facility upgrades or new constructions
• Coordinate approvals with City and Provincial departments
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required
• Minimum 4 years related experience
• Project management and engineering report preparation skills
• Knowledge of flooding principles and hydraulic software
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Your skills in project management and engineering will play a crucial role in protecting the City of Winnipeg from flood risks.
