Position: Hydropower Senior Mechanical Engineer Role
Lead major hydropower initiatives as a Senior Heavy Mechanical Engineer with AECOM, utilizing your skills in mechanical systems design in a hybrid environment.

This senior position demands a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and over 6 years of experience in heavy mechanical engineering for hydropower. You will work with teams comprising engineers and designers to ensure high-quality project deliveries while overseeing compliance with relevant standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical direction for heavy mechanical systems in projects

• Develop and ensure compliance with design criteria and standards

• Supervise engineering calculations and equipment selection

• Review and finalize technical documents and contract details

• Collaborate with various engineering disciplines on project activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

• At least 6 years in heavy mechanical design for hydropower

• P.Eng. registration (or eligibility) in Quebec

• Proven ability to manage complex technical tasks

• Strong French verbal and written skills
