Municipal Engineering Project Manager

Overview

We are currently seeking a Municipal Engineering Project Manager to join either our Water Wastewater or Linear Municipal Infrastructure team. Our team specializes in the strategy and technical execution of water, wastewater, and municipal infrastructure projects that shape our communities.

This is a new position and is based at our Winnipeg, Fredericton, Saint John or Halifax office. We offer flexible work hours and hybrid work arrangement options to help balance the competing demands of work and personal life.

About the Position

Project Management and Design

• Lead the strategy and drive the execution of high-value engineering solutions that position our firm as the premier technical partner for complex projects.
• Diversify by collaborating with internal experts across environmental science, planning, and management to deliver holistic solutions that go beyond standard engineering.
• Project manage and deliver preliminary and detailed designs for municipal and industrial infrastructure projects related to treatment facilities and pumping stations.
• Coordinate design team activities, direction to project team members including junior engineers and technical support staff, and ongoing support to client relationship managers.
• Liaise with public and private sector clients, government review and approval agencies, sub-consultants and subcontractors.
• Liaison with multidisciplinary project teams (including transportation, municipal and structural engineers, transportation systems planners, planners, environmental scientists and technical support staff).
• We empower our teams to automate the routine so they can focus on high-value, creative problem-solving. You will be encouraged to experiment with AI-enabled tools to push the boundaries of traditional design.

• Proactively seek and cultivate new, long‑term business opportunities that align with our sustainability goals and drive responsible growth, including submissions responding to requests for proposals, preparation of proposals and statements of qualification.
• Provide strategic leadership in strengthening and expanding existing client relationships, with a focus on long‑term partnerships and developing strong, value‑driven proposals and statements of qualification.
• Travel to other Dillon offices as needed to support collaboration, share knowledge, and drive growth across the firm.
