We're seeking a mid to senior-level Building Envelope Engineer/Designer with a strong background in building systems, restoration, or design. The successful candidate will engage in the design, assessment, and rehabilitation of building envelopes, collaborating with architects and contractors.
Your role will involve addressing issues such as moisture infiltration while mentoring junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design building envelope systems for new and renovation projects
• Conduct building assessments and moisture investigations
• Prepare technical reports and specifications
• Coordinate with other disciplines on building projects
• Mentor junior engineers and offer technical support
Requirements:
• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• 3+ years in building envelope or consulting
• Strong understanding of building science principles
• Experience in AutoCAD and/or Revit
• Effective communication and technical writing skills
