Duties

The Senior Engineer will provide specialized engineering services encompassing Manitoba’s environmental liabilities relating to Orphaned and Abandoned Mines and Contaminated Sites. The position includes developing strategies and seeking approvals from relevant authorities to address these environmental liabilities, and procurement of specialised engineering consulting and construction remediation services to investigate, assess, design, plan, and implement works and programs intended to minimise long term financial and environmental liabilities for the province
