As a vital member of the Public Works Transportation Division, you will execute the Road Safety Strategic Action Plan and contribute to continual safety enhancements. Your expertise in civil engineering and road safety management will be essential as you respond to community inquiries about safety concerns and priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement the City’s Road Safety Strategic Action Plan
• Participate in regular updates to road safety policies
• Provide input on transportation infrastructure safety
• Address inquiries related to road safety issues
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Certification as Road Safety Professional (within 12 months)
• Four years of relevant civil engineering experience
• Familiarity with Vision Zero principles
• Proficiency in GIS and Microsoft Office tools
Utilize your engineering and analytical skills to advance Winnipeg’s road safety goals and enhance public transport safety.
