ALS Sample Processing Clerk

Enhance client relations with ALS as a Sample Processing Clerk, responsible for accurate data entry and sample management. Ideal candidates thrive in a detail-oriented and customer-focused role.

In this position, you will oversee cash payments, data entry of Chain of Custody information into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), and assist in sample triage. Your professionalism and organizational skills will help ensure compliance with safety procedures while providing exceptional client service within the laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process cash payments for samples promptly

• Input Chain of Custody data into LIMS accurately

• Conduct sample triage and organization as required

• Assist clients with questions about their samples

• Train and mentor new staff members

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent needed

• Experience in customer service and cash handling

• BSc or Technical Diploma in Environmental Science or Chemistry is advantageous

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• Must manage physical demands including lifting up to 30 lbs
