Shape memorable events with CSA Group as a full-time Event Planner. Your expertise in budgeting and vendor management will be vital in executing high-quality organizational meetings.
In this role within the Standards division, you'll design meetings and technical seminars while managing expenses and negotiating contracts. Strong project management skills and effective communication are critical to meet organizational objectives and tackle challenges successfully.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and recommend suitable venues and catering options
• Manage budgeting and track expenses efficiently
• Oversee vendor relationships and negotiate contracts
• Conduct event assessments and gather valuable feedback
• Guide marketing efforts for promotional materials
Requirements:
• 2-year post-secondary degree in Event Management
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Familiarity with budget management tools
• French language skills preferred
