Assiniboine Park Conservancy is hiring for a Full-Time Event Coordinator to manage diverse events throughout the year. This term position focuses on planning, execution, and client relationships across the park’s venues.

As an Event Coordinator, you will play a key role in the Community & Special Events team, ensuring seamless event operations from start to finish. Your experience in managing logistics, including scheduling and contract execution, will be vital to your success. A proactive approach and attention to client needs are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee complete non-catering events from scheduling to execution

• Collaborate with vendors for streamlined event logistics

• Maintain records using Event Pro for effective tracking

• Execute post-event evaluations to enhance client satisfaction

• Assist in the development of innovative event ideas

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent education

• Solid 3 years of experience in event management

• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office

• Familiarity with audio-visual equipment

• Manitoba Class 5 Driver’s License required
