An exciting opportunity awaits

We currently have an opportunity for a
Consumer Loans Clerk
to join our team in our Linden Ridge, Winnipeg branch. As the Consumer Loans Clerk you will assist the Consumer Lending Department with delivering exceptional member service by providing loan administrative support and ensuring compliance with applicable legislation, policies, and procedures.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Support the Consumer Lending Department in the delivery of products and services to members and potential members by processing non-real estate secured lending facilities on the banking system and managing disbursements in accordance with the Consumer Service Level Agreement
• Monitor and distribute monthly reminder reporting to appropriate person to ensure timely follow-up with member
• Review loan applications, identify inaccuracies and/or omissions and follow-up as required
• Set up and process non-real estate secured lending facilities in the Banking System, ensuring accuracy and efficiency at all times
• Compile and reconcile appraisal invoices and submit payment to appraisal company in a timely manner
• Address audit inquiries and/or irregularities and follow-up with internal member in a timely manner
• Adhere to service level agreements with other internal departments as required
• Maintain open communication and cooperation with the Consumer Lending Department to ensure a friendly and efficient work environment and timely completion of requests
• Support and/or train colleagues to develop and maintain a strong team dynamic
• Refer potential sales opportunities to the Consumer Lending Department or other specialists within the credit union

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 diploma, plus 1 to 3 years of job related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Business acumen
• Basic knowledge of lending policies and regulatory environments
• Software proficiency

The starting hourly rate is above $21.00 per hour. In addition, you would be eligible for
