Responsibilities
Propose, plan and execute corporate finance engagements with a focus on divestiture engagements. This may also include researching and identifying new markets or candidates; managing merger, acquisition and divestiture processesDevelop project plans and coordinate project logistics with clients and other stakeholdersConduct detailed analysis relating to quality of earnings reviews, sustainability of EBITDA, quality of assets, working capital profile and potential risks and opportunitiesBuild and prepare technical based analysis, projections, forecasts and modelsIdentify competitive issues and performance indicators on both a macro and micro level specific to the target marketResearch and formulate market and industry trends, broad synopsis and general conclusionsDesign and develop high-quality deliverables including Confidential Information Memorandums, engagement letters, reports, presentations and correspondenceIdentify innovative ways to deliver added value to clients; ensure client needs are met and relationships grow and developLead engagement teams, developing effective relationships with clients while coaching and mentoring junior team membersParticipate in business development initiatives and contribute to the preparation and delivery of competitive proposalsMaintain flexibility to travel, as necessarySkills and Experience
CPA designation3 to 6 years total of professional services experience, ideally in accounting, financial analysis and modeling, and corporate finance related fieldsTotal years of experience inclusive of 1 to 4 years of direct corporate finance/mergers and acquisition experienceExtensive experience in the preparation and analysis of financial statementsStrong technical accounting skills with detailed knowledge Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Experience in business and practice development
