The opportunity:
Reporting to the VP, Investment Platform Support, the Portfolio Manager, Investment Practice Management will play an integral role in supporting and enabling investment management practices.
The Portfolio Manager, Investment Practice Management will act as the primary point of contact for Advisors with respect to investment management programs, supporting the execution, adoption, and ongoing operation of investment programs. The Portfolio Manager supports Discretionary PMs as an expert in the use and application of portfolio management and trading systems and strategies. They will also support operational support, technology enablement, and execution of investment practice management initiatives, ensuring alignment with firm strategy, platform capabilities, and regulatory requirements.
The role combines investment knowledge, platform expertise, and operational excellence to help Advisors optimize their investment practices and deliver strong client outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
Work closely with discretionary portfolio managers as an expert in the use and application of portfolio management and trading systems and strategies. Deliver trade system overviews and demos to existing, prospective and transitioning PM teams and Business Development partners. Participate in and design training sessions and contribute to knowledge base articles and user documentation. Assist in troubleshooting, issue resolution, and escalation of platform or program-related matters in coordination with internal teams and external vendors.
