What is the opportunity?The RBC Dominion Securities Winnipeg branch is looking for a resourceful, efficient and collaborative individual to join our team as an Associate.
What will you do?- Manage daily trading operations, including the accurate and timely execution of trades as directed by the Advisor.
- Generate and manage model portfolio trade lists and assist with the quarterly/annual portfolio rebalancing process.
- Run various portfolio management reports, including capital gains/loss reports for tax planning and review purposes.
- Execute and follow up on all client trades to ensure proper settlement, delivery, and reporting.
- Support and serve clients, providing a professional and highly personable experience on the phone.
- Coordinate wealth planning services & liaise with internal specialists
- Liaise with clients, team members, and business partners to find solutions and see requests through to completion.
Must-have
- Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam, CIRE
- Post Secondary Education (College or University)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Relevant experience in the financial services industry
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Dominion Securities (DS) or Retail Brokerage work experience
- Enthusiastic, committed, and entrepreneurial spirit
