Position: Great-West Lifeco Associate Manager, Taxation
Exciting opportunity at Great-West Lifeco for an Associate Manager, Taxation to contribute to our Income Tax Reporting function in Canada. This role focuses on compliance, analysis, and team enhancement.

In this position, you'll assist in managing tax compliance and reporting for Great-West Inc. and its subsidiaries. Your work will encompass the preparation and analysis of income tax provisions and annual returns. You'll also engage in research to tackle tax-related issues that arise in various financial processes, directly impacting our financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze quarterly and year-end income tax provisions

• Prepare annual tax returns for Canadian entities

• Research and document tax matters for compliance

• Assist with the analysis of special transactions

• Support CRA tax audits and provide staff training

Requirements:

• University degree in business or related field

• Completion of a professional accounting designation

• 2-4 years of relevant taxation/accounting experience

• Ability to manage competing priorities effectively

• Proficient in Excel; knowledge of Longview Tax is a plus
