Accounting Operations Manager

Bring accounting leadership and financial analysis to Mount Carmel Clinic’s Administration Finance department in a permanent, full-time appointment.
The Manager, Finance and Operations provides primary support to the Director of Finance and Operations. You will manage accounting and reporting activities while supervising Finance and Maintenance staff. The position also requires computerized accounting expertise, Excel proficiency and strong decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting activities and financial reporting
Supervise Finance staff and Maintenance staff
Oversee maintenance contracts and program activities
Prioritize work to achieve expected goals and outcomes
Communicate financial and operational information clearly
Requirements:
Post-secondary accounting education or equivalent education and experience
Minimum five years’ related leadership experience
Intermediate to advanced computerized accounting systems proficiency
Strong financial analysis, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Use accounting expertise, financial reporting knowledge and operational judgment to support Mount Carmel Clinic’s Finance services.
