Position: EO2 Environmental Stewardship Role MB
Embrace a career in environmental compliance as an EO2 Environment Officer with the Manitoba government. This essential full-time position supports crucial regulatory oversight across various locations in Manitoba.

In this role, you will report directly to the Regional Supervisor and oversee the enforcement of substantial environmental legislation, including the Contaminated Sites Remediation Act and Ozone Depleting Substances Act. A Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science or an equivalent experience is required, along with effective written and verbal communication skills. Initiative and problem-solving abilities are crucial for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and administer environmental compliance regulations

• Investigate incidents and enforce relevant acts

• Implement environmental monitoring and sampling

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders

• Work both independently and collaboratively

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science or equivalent

• Knowledge of relevant Canadian environmental laws

• Experience with compliance and investigations

• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills

• Valid Manitoba Class 5 Driver's Licence
