In this position, you will report directly to the Manager of Municipal Support and Advisory Services and contribute to the capacity-building of municipalities. This role prioritizes strong financial governance knowledge and the skill to manage political sensitivities. Your responsibilities will include consulting troubled municipalities and responding to public inquiries while traveling to remote locations when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and implement training for municipal staff
• Support municipalities facing governance challenges
• Act as Supervisor under administrative oversight
• Advise on legislation affecting municipalities
• Handle inquiries from citizens on municipal concerns
Requirements:
• Municipal Administrator’s Certificate or similar qualifications
• In-depth knowledge of municipal systems and finance
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Capability to operate independently and manage diverse priorities
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
