Community-Focused Land Use Planner

In this impactful role, you will analyze and guide planning initiatives that shape land use in eastern Ontario. Collaborate closely with municipal councils and Indigenous communities, fostering inclusive partnerships that address diverse planning needs. Your analytical skills will support sound government decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide recommendations on planning applications
• Improve land use policies and legislation
• Advise on planning matters involving the government
• Engage actively with councils and Indigenous communities
• Conduct impact assessments for planning options
Requirements:
• Hold an Ontario Class 'G' driver's licence
• In-depth knowledge of Ontario planning legislation
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Excellent analytical and research capabilities
• Proficient communication and interpersonal skills
