Executive Director Government Relations EV Manufacturing

In this executive position with Tech Talent International, you will take the lead in government relations for an innovative EV manufacturing client. Your strategic vision will guide public policy, stakeholder collaboration, and advocacy efforts across regulatory frameworks in Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
• Craft and implement an effective government relations strategy
• Develop relationships with various government levels and regulatory bodies
• Represent the firm in industry consultations and regulatory events
• Create policy recommendations and advocacy strategies
• Lead funding negotiations for development initiatives
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant disciplines such as Economics or Business
• Minimum of 10 years in public affairs or regulatory roles
• Deep understanding of the automotive manufacturing landscape
• Proven ability to navigate complex government relations
• Strong relationship network across governmental sectors
Drive forward the transition to electric vehicles by utilizing your extensive advocacy and strategic management capabilities.
