As a vital member of the Health, Seniors, and Long Term Care Environmental Health team, you will enforce public health standards and investigate health risks. Your analytical skills will be essential in conducting inspections and providing clear communications about health compliance and related issues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure adherence to the Public Health Act regulations
• Conduct health hazard inspections and investigations
• Communicate findings effectively to stakeholders
• Keep detailed records and reports of inspections
• Present findings and proposals for public health improvements
Requirements:
• Degree in Environmental Health or equivalent training
• CPHI(C) certificate is mandatory
• Experience in health-related inspections and monitoring
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Valid Class 5 driver's license required
Contribute to the health and wellness of Manitoba by enforcing public health standards.
