As part of the Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure, you’ll work within a dedicated team enforcing transportation safety laws. This unique position involves hands-on inspections, working collaboratively with police and regulatory agencies to ensure public safety while promoting compliance in commercial transportation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct inspections and enforcement activities on highways
• Assess compliance during commercial vehicle traffic stops
• Perform safety audits and detailed roadside inspections
• Document evidence and prepare investigative reports
• Collaborate with law enforcement and transportation agencies
Requirements:
• Degree in criminology or law enforcement training
• Minimum one year of enforcement experience preferred
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal abilities for stakeholder engagement
• Must have a valid Manitoba Class 4 driver’s licence
