IntroductionThe province of Manitobais aseeking qualified bilingual candidate to filla position in Municipal and Northern Relations.

The incumbent is primarily responsible for French Language Services (FLS) within the public body. The incumbent supports the continuous improvement of programs and their responsiveness to Francophone community needs by assisting with issue management, information coordination and policy development.
Qualifications:- Post-secondary degree in Humanities, Social Sciences, or a related discipline, with related work experience. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
- High level of political acumen to navigate sensitive and confidential issues with tact and diplomacy.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong written communication skills in French, including experience writing a variety of documents and reports for different audiences.
- Strong written communication skills in English, including experience writing a variety of documents and reports for different audiences.
- Strong verbal communication skills in French with the ability to effectively communicate with various audiences to present information formally and informally.

- Experience conducting research, analysis, and program evaluation.
- Experience applying project management principles and practices to manage and support a work plan or assigned projects while respecting deadlines.
- Demonstrated initiative, and the ability to work autonomously, with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team as well as establish and maintain strong working relationships with the public, stakeholders, government officials and staff at all levels.
- Knowledge of Manitoba's Francophone community and the objectives of The Francophone Community Enhancement and Support Act, the French-Language Services Policy and the Active Offer concept.
- Experience working with Manitoba's Francophone community and/or official language minority communities.
- Presentation and facilitation skills.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Must be fluently bilingual (French and English)
