Our work is grounded in health equity. This role is out of our Winnipeg head office, Monday to Friday, daytime only. We partner with communities in rural and remote regions to deliver thoughtful, accessible, and culturally respectful pharmacy care right from here in Winnipeg. The Opportunity
This role is ideal for a pharmacist who loves patient care and meaningful relationships but is ready to step away from the pace, hours, and pressures of traditional retail.
As a Pharmacist with Spirit Rx, you’ll join a collaborative, high-energy team delivering innovative direct distribution pharmacy services. Our philosophy is simple: care over commerce. And yes, this role is Monday to Friday, daytime hours only. No evenings. No weekends.

What You’ll Do
This role is centered on collaboration, accountability, and patient impact.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing clinical services and medication management for patients in remote communities
- Collaborating closely with prescribers and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Delivering patient-centred counselling and education via phone or virtual consultations
- Supporting specialized pharmacy services, including:
- Diabetes management
- Infectious disease care
- Long-term and chronic disease management
- Ensuring accurate prescription processing, packaging, and dispensing
- Contributing to quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
What You Bring
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm
D) from a recognized institution - Licensed and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba
- A genuine passion for patient care
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in providing remote patient support
- Experience in healthcare, chronic disease management, or distance-care pharmacy is an asset (but not required)
- A team-first mindset and comfort working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
