Position: Home Care Aide with WRHA
Join the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority as a Home Care Aide, delivering essential support to patients in need. This in-person role focuses on providing personalized health care in the community.

As part of the WRHA’s dedicated Home Care program, you'll provide effective personal care to clients with various health challenges. Candidates should have a completed Health Care Aide course and demonstrate both compassion and professionalism in their interactions. Strong organizational skills are crucial for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living

• Communicate with clients and families regarding care plans

• Utilize critical thinking to ensure high-quality care

• Maintain organized and timely documentation

• Ensure compliance with safety protocols

Requirements:

• Certification as a Health Care Aide required

• Valid Manitoba driver's license and access to transportation

• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification preferred

• Ability to perform physical health care tasks

• Knowledge of Indigenous customs is a plus
