Position: Boundary Trails Health Centre HCA Role
Location: Winkler

Join Boundary Trails Health Centre as a Health Care Aide in Winkler, Manitoba. This in-person temporary role actively supports residents in their daily living activities.

You will work under guidance from nursing staff at Southern Health-Santé Sud. This position requires a Health Care Aide Certificate and preferably 1–2 years of experience in a healthcare setting. You will also need to exercise independent judgment while following established care protocols with a focus on person-centered services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance in daily living activities to residents

• Maintain confidentiality in accordance with PHIA and FIPPA

• Collaborate with the nursing team to prioritize patient care

• Complete required safety and training programs

• Demonstrate effective communication with patients and colleagues

Requirements:

• Health Care Aide Certificate necessary

• 1–2 years’ relevant healthcare experience preferred

• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

• Strong command of English in communication

• Ability to handle stress and diverse patient interactions
