Experienced Physician Assistant in Oncology

Stanford Health Care seeks a skilled Physician Assistant with oncology expertise to enhance cancer care services. Your diagnostic skills will be pivotal in treating patients and expediting crucial procedures.

As an Advanced Practice Provider (APP), you will work in the cancer diagnostic clinic, focusing on assessing new and returning patients with cancer. You'll be responsible for conducting detailed evaluations, ordering tests, and administering treatments while working closely with supervising physicians. Robust onboarding and ongoing support will ensure your success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and manage patients’ acute and chronic issues

• Perform physical exams with careful attention to detail

• Coordinate diagnostic and therapeutic activities

• Oversee patient care continuity from clinic to community

• Participate in quality improvement efforts

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college

• Completion of an accredited PA program

• Current PA licensure and BLS certification

• Expertise in oncology-related diagnostic procedures

• Ability to provide independent patient care with guidance
