Extendicare is seeking a dependable Health Care Aide to support residents at Red River Place LTC. The role entails assisting with personal care, hygiene, and daily living activities while observing and reporting on the residents' conditions. You will collaborate with a dedicated team under the supervision of the Director of Health & Wellness, ensuring compliance with Extendicare's policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere to the care plan established by your supervisor

• Facilitate resident transfers and mobility as needed

• Assist residents with hygiene and daily living tasks

• Observe and report changes in client conditions promptly

• Prepare nutritious meals and maintain a clean environment

Requirements:

• Certification in Health Care Aide program with 500 hours of experience

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Demonstrated competency in personal care tasks

• Current BCLS and First Aid certification recommended

• Must obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check
