As part of a dedicated team reporting to the Unit Manager, the Laboratory Technician will perform phlebotomy and other essential tasks. Candidates should possess a recognized Medical Laboratory Technology course and three years of phlebotomy experience. You will contribute meaningfully to patient care, particularly for oncology patients, while working full-time in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform phlebotomy and other laboratory duties
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure quality care
• Utilize Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel proficiency
• Maintain a satisfactory employment record
• Contribute to patient interactions with excellent communication skills
Requirements:
• Completion of Medical Laboratory Technology program
• High school diploma adhering to Manitoba Standards
• Minimum three years of phlebotomy experience
• Ability to legally work in Canada
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
