Enhance your caregiving skills with the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority as a Health Care Aide. This casual role in home care focuses on providing personalized support in a community setting.

As part of the F2 Fort Garry Team, you will deliver essential care to individuals with physical or cognitive impairments. Successful candidates must have completed a recognized Health Care Aide course and hold a valid Manitoba Class 5 driver’s license. Your ability to communicate effectively and provide personal care will be vital in ensuring clients receive the best support possible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide safe and respectful personal care

• Communicate effectively with clients and families

• Apply critical thinking skills in care situations

• Organize and prioritize assigned workloads

• Document care using an electronic charting system

Requirements:

• Completion of a recognized Health Care Aide course

• Valid Manitoba Class 5 driver’s license

• Basic Computer skills: MS Word and Outlook

• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support training

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
