Position for Cardiac Sonographer

Contribute to top-tier healthcare as a Cardiac Sonographer with Shared Health in Manitoba. You will focus on obtaining precise cardiac ultrasound images while mentoring new staff and ensuring safety compliance.

Working under the guidance of the Manager/Charge Sonographer, this role involves producing high-quality images for physician interpretation. You will assist in the development of new staff and support departmental research efforts. Your technical expertise in cardiovascular imaging and excellent communication will be instrumental in daily patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate accurate cardiac ultrasound images for clinical evaluation

• Assist in training sessions for new employees and students

• Maintain adherence to quality assurance protocols

• Engage collaboratively in research and departmental initiatives

• Ensure safety and compliance with professional standards

Requirements:

• Recent experience as a cardiac sonographer preferred

• Certification with Sonography Canada (CRCS) is mandatory

• Higher education in Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography required

• Proficient written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team
