This in-person role involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team to assess and address the clinical needs of Indigenous communities, including First Nations, Métis, Urban Indigenous, and Inuit clients. Your responsibilities include planning health services, facilitating connections, and providing both direct and virtual patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize and assess the psychosocial health needs of clients
• Facilitate collaborations across mental health services
• Provide culturally safe care through various modalities
• Establish relationships with community health providers
• Document and advocate for the needs of Indigenous health
Requirements:
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in health/social services
• 2 to 3 years’ experience with Indigenous populations
• Relevant post-secondary education in health/social programs
• Active licensing with regulatory health body
• Knowledge of Indigenous health practices and issues
Support the cultural, emotional, and practical needs of clients through your dedicated work in Indigenous health care.
