As an Addiction Counsellor II, you will play a key role within the Community Treatment Team in Scarborough. This dynamic position involves conducting assessments, advocating for clients, and coordinating services alongside multidisciplinary teams. Your expertise will guide individuals through treatment planning and facilitate their recovery from substance use issues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and match treatment strategies for clients
• Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare providers
• Integrate community-based resources and services
• Provide advocacy and support for clients' needs
Requirements:
• Accredited Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences
• Demonstrated experience with substance use and treatment planning
• Knowledge of current addiction challenges
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Possess a valid Ontario driver’s license
