The Care Aide role involves proactive personal care, including grooming, bathing, meal preparation, and supporting mobility for patients with Dementia and other conditions. You'll document any changes in client health and help maintain a safe, clean environment for their comfort and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide compassionate and proactive personal care
• Assist clients with grooming, dressing, and bathing
• Prepare meals considering individual dietary needs
• Help patients with mobility and transfers effectively
• Maintain a tidy and safe living space
Requirements:
• Experience in caregiving, particularly with special needs
• Understanding of WHMIS and health safety protocols
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Ability to identify and respond to safety concerns
• Willingness to assist with household chores
